Weekly Wins – #3

Let’s all just pretend that this went live on Friday instead of very late on Sunday evening? Because I couldn’t possibly have missed sharing Weekly Wins only 3 weeks in? This past week included celebrating 8 years of marriage, a family trip to the hair salon and the arrival of my new BFF (Bike Friend Forever) so I think I got a bit distracted by the end of it…

Let’s get to it, shall we:

  1. There’s something about summer and reading that makes me a little nostalgic for those lazy days of hiding in my closet, devouring the pages of the BSC and SVH. I pulled up a recent “I Do Declare” Podcast episode to reference as I was checking out electronic books from our local library (God Bless the Libby App).  I trust Betsy + Courtney’s reading recommendations 110%.
  2. If you’re reading this after 8am on Monday morning, the Lilly Pulitzer sale is actively happening as we speak. They’ve never done a mid-season sale like this (ahem, Covid), but I’m hoping to take advantage and snag a pair of leggings and another tunic dress.
  3. Sally’s Baking Addiction is a go-to for baking adventures. If you haven’t made her Baked Oatmeal you’re missing out. We have extra blackberries so guess what we’re having for breakfast this week 😉
  4. I always joke that if I were a holiday, I would be the Fourth of July. While this year will be without fireworks + pool day with friends, I do plan to make homemade ice cream, as per tradition. This is your friendly reminder to put your ice cream container in your freezer now so it’s ready for the weekend. I’ll try to remember to remind you again later this week.
  5. If your Fourth of July plans do include the pool and you need a suit, I wish shipping would allow you to grab this Gingham top, paired with solid navy bottoms, before the weekend. I snagged the magnolia print top + navy bottoms and love it so much. It would be great for Fourth of July next year?

Love,

KNW
