My Christmas List

File this blogpost under things I should have written in October. You can also add the ‘annual family calendar’ to this list of things I should have already completed.

The grandparents and my grandmother get calendars with photos from “the Babies throughout the year” and KPW gets an ‘outtakes’ calendar from “the antics throughout the year”

10 out of 10 recommend making an outtakes calendar for someone on your list. I print them at MPix (not sponsored but hey, call a girl) because the quality is great and the production turnaround time is ideal.

Before I dart out in search of Christmas stamps for the Christmas cards, that are not finished, I’m going to share a few Christmas list ideas. Slightly boring because I’m repeating a few gifts that are still on my wish list from last year but I did sneak on a few new fun ideas.

  1. These Rothy’s slippers on still on my list and on crazy sale at the moment. Feels like I might need to buy myself a Christmas present as a reward for buying Christmas presents for everyone else.
  2. Welcome to 40. I can’t stop thinking about these mixing bowls to replace the ones that have been taken over by the ‘pretend cooking shows’ hosted by your favorite 6-year-old chefs.
  3. I don’t want to pony up the money to replace my broken right AirPod (it’s 100% my fault it broke) but I find myself wildly more productive when I listen to a podcast or audiobook when doing chores. These ‘wireless but harder to misplace Beats’ feel like a good idea.
  4. Leaning hard into my sneaker era, not for ‘athletic’ purposes but strictly for carpool fashun. I love these, these, and these among others.
  5. Would it be my Christmas list if I didn’t include Lake Pajamas somewhere? This kimono set in Fog has been on my wish list for ages. Haven’t tried this style but a dear friend swears I am going to love it and I trust her.
  6. Got the Depuffing Mask for Christmas last year and immediately reordered when I ran out. They’ve introduced a Cryo Mask I can’t wait to try. While I can’t commit to a full-body cold plunge, I will happily cold plunge my face.
  7. Strongly considered the UGG bootie slippers that are on every teenage girl’s wish list across the country but I couldn’t find them in stock and I am 40 not 17, so I’m putting ‘cool girl tall socks’ on my list instead.
  8. I wear my small Penelope Studs nearly every day. Having recently chopped 7 inches off my hair, I think my new 1989-inspired look would really shine with the medium set.
  9. Two different friends sent me this sweater because they both thought I’d love it. They aren’t wrong. Now I want to book a January trip to the mountains and get the matching hat. Too much? Nope. Not at all.
  10. I saw this necklace on a friend last week when we met for brunch and I haven’t stopped thinking about it. The custom charm jewelry gives me all the “1990s charm bracelets” vibes.

Clearly, I don’t need a thing, but wouldn’t be upset if one or two of these wishes wound up under the tree this year. Now I need some gift ideas for KPW???

xo,

KNW

PS: A few extra ideas that might be fun for a girlfriend, your sister, your mom or your stocking: silicone ice roller, hair clip, reading light, eye patches, sleep shirt, devotional, German face cream and a ton of TS bracelets.

PPS: 2022 Gift Gift Update: I got the cozy Lake robe last year and it lived up to the hype. So did the the cross-body bag that stalked me on IG (I’ve worn and washed it on repeat all year).
