Let’s cut to the chase, the latest Thanksgiving can ever be celebrated is the 28th of November. This means there are exactly 27 days between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Buckle up, it’s going to be an exceptionally holiday season this year.
I have purchased exactly 0 presents. I’m hosting Thanksgiving for the first time ever next week. And my to-dos looks more like a short novel not a list. All I know is that we can’t really kick off the holiday season without the annual KNW Ornament Swap.
1. By Friday, November 22nd: Complete this year’s 2024 KNW Ornament Swap form with your basic contact information for swapping purposes. Don’t forget your city, state and zip. 💻
2. By Wednesday, November 27th: You will get an email with the names and addresses of up to four people who are your swap partners. Yep, that means you’ll be sending out four ornaments and you’ll be receiving up to four in return. 📩
3. By Wednesday, December 3rd: Be sure to send out your ornaments no later than this date! All that’s left to do is wait for the holiday magic to arrive in your mailbox. 📫
4. Don’t forget: Your ornaments can be homemade or store-bought. My rule of thumb is to make sure I send something I would want to bring to a girlfriend ornament swap. No DIY for me. I love shopping locally through an artist or shop. ❤️
5. Finally: DO NOT SIGN UP IF YOU DON’T PLAN TO PARTICIPATE. IT IS NO FUN TO SEND OUT ORNAMENTS AND NOT GET ANY IN RETURN. I promise there is always next year!! 🎄
I say it year after year, but some of my very favorite ornaments are from past swaps and it seems I’m not the only one based on the message I started receiving in early November asking if we were doing the swap again this year.
Don’t forget to tag me when you start sending and receiving ornaments (#knwornamentswap)
