“Repeat after me: just because an item’s on sale, doesn’t mean you need to buy it. Use the sales. Don’t let the sales use you.” – KNW
Here’s my quick attempt to to help you use the sales to the best of your advantage to find some deals on things that might be on your Christmas list.
- J.Crew is 50% off. I’ve said it before, but I will say it again, this is the perfect time to snag a coat for yourself of someone else for Christmas (I love this one, this one and this one). I’ve snagged kiddo pjs (with a relevant themed book for a great Christmas gift), sweaters for friends and always browse their accessories for small surcees. I have also had my eye on this sherpa pullover for ages.
- Madewell is up to 50% off. I swear by their jeans. I have bought their jeans for Kiwi for Christmas a few years ago. I love this Demi-Boot cut pair, this Vintage cut pair, and this pair of high-rise jeans
- Tubby Todd is 15% off and I plan to stock up on the babies bath soap and lotion for the year. A great gift idea for grandparents or aunts and uncles. Our favorites are the All Over Ointment and the Hair & Body Wash (my favorite part of this sale is there are limited edition holiday and seasonal scents!?!)
- Back Country is my go-to for winter wear. Patagonia is 30+% off. NorthFace is 30%. And these dreamy (yet practical) snow boots are on crazy sale but not sure it snows enough in NC to add them to my Christmas list.
- $25 Hannah Anderson pajamas? I have sent this link to both sets of grandparents. We love their pajamas for the babies. I love to gift them. Can you tell I love giving pajamas as gifts?
- Target‘s Black Friday sales are all over the place. If you’ve had you eye on an Apple Watch this is a great deal on the series 3, Melissa and Doug toys are Buy One Get One 50% off, and Apple Airpods are the cheapest I’ve seen them.
- MPix is my goto for printing family pictures. I do a calendar each year for both sets of grandparents and my great-grandmother. I love their quality and try to take advantage of their black Friday discount to knock out a few Christmas gifts.
- Ulta Beauty deals are another place I find surcee gifts for girlfriends: this Origin set, the magic eraser and beauty brushes
- Nordstrom‘s Black Friday sales on shoes tend to be a great success for gifting for our parents and for each other. I have these boots high on my radar. Kiwi picked out these running shoes. And I’m on the hunt for a pair of shoes for my MIL.
- If you have had your eye on an Amazon device or other related electronic item, now is the time to take advantage of deals that are in line with Prime Day pricing: The Echo Show, Kid’s Fire Tablet and the Fire Stick (You can stream Peloton workouts through this device) and our beloved Vitamix are on on great sale.
This list is by no means exhaustive. Old Navy and Gap are both running great sales. I’m snagging a few pairs of pants to replace the ones WPW has outgrown and will take a peek at their light-weight jackets because the babies have finally outgrown their beloved bear coats from Gap.
I’m off to finish up helping the jolly guy with his shopping. I know two little people who are going to flip out on Christmas morning when they find this in the backyard.
