KNW Ornament Swap 2025

It’s Thanksgiving Week and I need to get to the store to buy squash, pecans, pie crust and chocolate chips. To be clear, this is for two different dishes–I’m in charge of the squash casserole and pecan pies this year (I always sneak chocolate chips into one of them because chocolate pecan pie is KPW’s favorite).

Before I make it to the Harris Teeter to grab all the ingredients I need to kick off Thanksgiving, we must launch the Seventh Annual KNW Ornament Swap…

1. By Monday, December 1st: Complete this year’s 2025 KNW Ornament Swap form with your basic contact information for swapping purposes. Don’t forget your city, state and zip. 📝

2. By Friday, December 5th: You will get an email with the names and addresses of your three swap partners. Yep, that means you’ll be sending out three ornaments and you’ll be receiving up to three in return. 💻

3. By Friday, December 12th: Be sure to send out your ornaments no later than December 12th! All that’s left to do is wait for the holiday magic to arrive in your mailbox. 📬

4. Don’t forget: Your ornaments can be homemade or store-bought. My rule of thumb – make sure I send something I would want to hang on my own tree or give to my mother-in-law. No DIY for me. I love shopping locally through an artist or shop. Also think about shipping when picking out your ornaments (Pirate Ship is your BFF!!). There also some busineses that will direct ship if you find the perfect ornaments and save you a step. ❤️

5. Finally: DO NOT SIGN UP IF YOU DON’T PLAN TO PARTICIPATE. IT IS NO FUN TO SEND OUT ORNAMENTS AND NOT GET ANY IN RETURN. I promise there is always next year!! 🎄

We decorated our tree last night and had the best time talking about the history of all the ornament swap ornaments from over the years. We have ornaments from all corners of the US and a few from around the world. I love hearing from all of you who were equally, if not more excited for another swap. I can’t wait to see what treasures you all find to send back and forth!

Don’t forget to tag me when you start sending and receiving ornaments! #knwornamentswap

With love,

Kristin
